Be Accurate and Correct while performing transfusion therapy using: Measured Volume Set (M.V Set)

Measured Volume Sets

There are various types of Infusion sets available for Intravenous therapy and blood transfusion therapy. These therapies include the transfer of fluids or blood (or its components) directly to the vein. The choice of the infusion sets depends upon the therapy or treatment the doctor is giving to the patient.

As the measured volume set is a bit different from a normal infusion set, it also consists of the same roller clamp which is used to control the regulation of the fluid or blood during the transfusion therapy. The drip chamber is transparent cylindrical and calibrated for easy fluid level adjustment and drop count for the smooth process of fluid or blood transfusion.

The measuring volume set has proven out to be fast and accurate for the intravenous transfusion process. Keeping an eye on the amount of fluid being transmitted to the patient has now become easy for the nursing staff. The latest features, such as sterile, non-toxic, pyrogen-free, latex free have made the Measured Volume Set more reliable for the doctors and the nursing staff and more helpful for the patients.
