| Gallbladder disease- what is that? (part one) | |

So the first thing to know is, of course, what gall bladder is.Found on the underside of a person' s liver, the gall bladder is a very small organ, which has the shape of a pear. The liver produces bile, which are needed for digesting the fat in our body, and stores them in the gall bladder. Now that we know the first thing about gall bladder, it is time to get down to business and talk about gallbladder disease. This is a condition that is mostly found in women, but men can also suffer from it. The symptoms for this condition can vary from a little discomfort to grave pain. This often happens after we eat. In people who suffer from this condition symptoms can vary from nausea, pain and even jaundice. Now, you' re probably wondering why we get gallbladder disease. Well, the most common motive would be gallstones. These are a type of stones created in the gall baldder because of cholesterol, calcium or bile salts. The process is very simple. Cholesterol produces crystals which, in turn make gallstones. Not everybody can be affected by gallstones. although they can be found in young people as well, the targeted people are the older ones. But age is not the only factor that determines who is more likely to have gallstones. Obese persons are also at risk, those who have cases of gallstones in their family, those who suffer from cholesterol and even women who use contraceptive pills, for they contain estrogen. Although
this is a serious conditions, symptoms can only be found in one third
of the patients. They can also vary very much. Here are some of the
most important of the symptoms a person who suffers from gallstones
can have: - an infection of the gall bladder- you suffer from a lot of pain and even have temperature for a long period of time, and with every move the pain increases.
